North Platte Community College鈥檚 Student Senate will launch a food drive Nov. 28 to benefit The Salvation Army of North Platte.

Collection boxes will be set up in the Welcome Centers of NPCC鈥檚 north and south campuses and in the fireplace area of the college鈥檚 McDonald-Belton Building, 601 W. State Farm Rd.  

Donations of canned goods and other non-perishable food items will be accepted through Dec. 12.
